A Very Belated Welcome to Term 2 : )

Term 2 appears to be rocketing on by! The children are settled back fully into learning. They are missing the lovely Mrs Simmons but are working hard for Mrs Norton and Mrs Evans : )

                                                      ANZAC DAY Celebrations

To mark the special centenary of Anzac Day, there was a school wide focus on learning about the significance of Anzac Day. Room 15 appeared to particularly enjoy this topic. They showed great respect at the school wide assembly we had on the Friday too. This was fantastic to see. We also painted some poppies. They look great hanging up in our room.  Matthew brought in an awesome army 24hr ration pack which we enjoyed investigating and sampling! See below for some photos.

Mrs Simmon's gave a fantastic poppy planting kit to grow our very own poppies!!
