QR codes - (Quick Response)
This afternnon we learned how to use QR Codes with our friends in Room 14. Mrs Pelham is great at all things technical and she showed us how to use our iPads like a tool to scan QR codes and answer questions with our friends.
A QR code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares which store URLs or other information that can be read with a smartphone or an iPad.
Next week it's Mrs Simmons turn to set the tasks - yippee!

Our lovely butterflies
Ciara brought along four monarch butterfly chrysalis'. On Monday morning two had hatched. We put them on the roses outside our classroom. Have a look at the photos. Soon the sunflowers will be flowering too.

Reading time
Today we practised reading in our groups. First we had to decide on a group name. We wrote our names on our group boxes and then we read some books. Tomorrow we will start group reading with Mrs Simmons. The Cheetah group got their box put on the SPARKLE table as they worked well in their group taking turns and staying on task - ka pai!
